Rewards
Recognition is an important part of promoting innovation and progress. The association’s awards programme highlights outstanding members and their achievements, whether in technological innovation, sustainable production, successful export activities, or exemplary leadership. The award categories are designed so that both large and small companies, individual leaders, and entire teams can be brought into focus. Each award is based on transparent evaluation criteria and acknowledges a real contribution to the development of the sector. In addition, an award gives members visibility both locally and internationally. The awards are presented at a festive annual conference or at a dedicated recognition event. The awards are the association’s way of saying “thank you” to those who shape the future of industry.
Occupational Safety and Health
Occupational safety and employee well-being are at the heart of modern manufacturing. The association supports its members in developing a safety culture by providing guidelines, training, and advisory services for implementing safety standards. Best practices in occupational safety are shared, thematic workshops are held regularly, and access to leading experts is provided. In cooperation with members, the association helps assess risks, prevent accidents, and strengthen employee awareness. In addition to safety, attention is paid to employees’ mental and physical health; workplace health promotion is supported and solutions are shared that create a safe and motivating work culture. The aim is to help members ensure that every employee goes home from work as healthy as they arrived – or better yet, with the feeling that their contribution matters.
Innovation
The competitiveness of industry is based on the ability to innovate. The association supports members in implementing new ideas, technologies, and processes by providing access to collaboration networks, expert knowledge, and funding sources. Innovation-focused working groups, collaboration platforms, and partnerships with universities and development centres enable members to bring ideas to life more quickly. Inspiring seminars, pilot projects, and discussions are also organised in the fields of artificial intelligence, automation, and green technology. Innovation does not always mean a major revolution; sometimes a small change is enough to increase efficiency, reduce waste, or improve workflow. The association believes that every company can be innovative if it has the right support and environment, and this is exactly what it works to provide.
Roundtables
Export roundtables are one of the association’s collaboration formats. These are focused discussions in a small group setting where leaders, experts, and specialists can share experiences, discuss pain points, and explore new directions in a trusted environment. The roundtables take place regularly, both by sector (for example, machinery, food industry) and by theme (for example, digitalisation, export, green transition). Each roundtable has a moderator and a clearly defined outcome, such as an action proposal, cooperation initiative, or a concrete recommendation for the sector. Participation is exclusive and by invitation to ensure substantial and trustworthy discussion. This format helps strengthen communication between members and supports informed decision-making both in companies and in the association’s development.
Work Councils
Working groups are a practical way to bring together members’ knowledge and experience to achieve concrete goals. Each group focuses on a specific area, such as updating standards, implementing circular economy principles, or mapping labour market needs. The groups consist of company representatives, experts, and cooperation partners who contribute their time and expertise to finding solutions to shared challenges. The results of group work can lead to the development of new services, legislative proposals, or sectoral recommendations. The association values member initiative and creates opportunities for them to be active contributors to the future of the sector. Working groups are where ideas turn into action plans, and cooperation results in real impact.
